Gender and mobile learning
Objective: To provide a space for researchers and practitioners within IAmLearn who are interested in exploring the connections between gender and mobile learning.
Activities: This SIG shares academic resources, case studies, mobile learning design considerations, job opportunities, events and presentations that delve into the relationships between gender and mobile learning.
Who should join: This community is for people who wish to (better) understand or add to the conversation on: the gendered uses and perceptions of mobile learning and mobile technologies, gendered access to mobile learning opportunities and mobile technologies and the different ways that gender plays a role in the adoption of mobile learning and mobile technologies for women and men.

The Gender SIG of IAmLearn currently publishes a bi-monthly newsletter highlighting events, publications, ongoing research and other newsworthy items related to gender and its influence on/by mobile learning.
